2010 NCTA League Play and The Divisions

Each year St James enters teams in the inter-club, citywide league run by the National Capital Tennis Association.

Playing in the NCTA league is a good way to play competitive tennis. This year St James will enter 3 teams. Each will enter a different Division of the league, based on skill level, from beginners to top players. There is one game per week and half of the games are at home and half away. The league runs from May until the end of August.

How to play for St James  in a league team

If you are interested in joining league play, please visit  the clubhouse or call our staff on 613-237-5469 during supervised hours after the club opens on May 1.

We will hold try outs for the teams, starting in mid May. Keep in contact with the club to find out dates and times. There will also be practise sessions for the teams throughout the season.

Calling Women Players!

St James is looking for more women players to join a league team. Playing in the leagues is a great way to improve your skills in a competitive yet social environment. Plus you will  get to meet other St James players. We welcome new women members and players in our league teams.

Schedule

Once play starts, check the NCTA website for match schedules,  ncta.tenniscores.com.
